here, I am proposing the following poll:
When it comes to installing modules on CPAN...
- I use the CPAN.pm installer shell.
- I use CPANPLUS.
- I don't use CPAN, but use Activestate ppm instead.
- I download the tarball, build and install it with make.
- I copy all the .pm files into the right directories to install.
- I do not need to use external modules. All my code is self contained.
- My employer/ISP is reluctant to install modules I request, and I am not allowed to install them myself.
