I read the Camel while on the toilet, what would you call that?

Or, possibly: A swirl of Perl.

Trying to parse log piles?

This can be taken to almost any subject you want. I do this with more general programming books. Examples of books I've done this with are Programming Pearls/More Programming Perls (Jon Bentley), Code Complete (Steve McConnell) and The Pragmatic Programmer (Andrew Hunt/Dave Thomas).
These are relatively small books (apart from Code Complete), and consisting of multiple easily digested parts. You do a small part each day, and before you know it you've absorbed a lot of knowledge. | [reply] |
That sounds interesting. I have a similiar method. After I finish my homework I hit the Camel 'till 10:30PM then I set the alarm clock and turn the radio on to listen to and hit the sack. Do you happen to live in UK by any chance?

I find your meditation pleasing. Too bad the effect had to be ruined, somewhat, by the juveniles among us. | [reply] |
