I agree that documentation for beginners could be improved, and I think that 2 minor changes would go a long way to improving things.

Change the Need Help?? link at the top of all pages to link directly to the Perl Monks FAQ node.
As Oberon mentioned above, the Perl Monks FAQ page would read much better if it was flipped around into this order.
- general questions,
- then index,
- then recent entries.

Can we have some votes on these changes?
