Do it in the database.... 
SELECT Name, RIGHT(Name,LENGTH(Name)-LOCATE(' ',Name)) as sortorder
FROM Addresses
ORDER BY RIGHT(Name,LENGTH(Name)-LOCATE(' ',Name))
