The batch file runs from the command line. There's nothing to see -- the command prompt window is gone when I come back.

well, then go to the command line and type myscript.bat or whatever its name is.	[reply]

that's what i'm doing... the whole thing is gone after the script bombs, and part of what makes debugging a challenge.	[reply]
