nms in Debian stable/woody

While exploring Debian 3.0r1 stable/Woody package repository, I noticed our very own davorg's handiwork, in the form of his nms drop-ins.   They don't appear to be current versions, but if that's your gig then you ain't running Debian stable.   Heh. In case you've been in a cave for the past year or two, here are some Monastery links to fill you in: I realize this isn't earth-shattering, and possibly not even that new, but nms seems worth every erg of publicity it can get.

This is definitely cool. Now where's davorg so I can ++ him? :)

    Makeshifts last the longest.

If you're going to do that, don't forget to ++ nickjc, who has done most of the new development on the nms project since its conception.

It's good new isn't it :) Now we need to work on getting RPMs built so we can get nms included with Red Hat too.

As jryan pointed out, most of the recent work has been done by nickjc - so huge amounts of kudos go out to him, I'd also like to mention Christophe Martin - who did all the work of packaging the scripts for Debian.
