'My Active Nodes' - idea

Just another idea..
How about a link/filter possibility on the user home node which shows links to 'Nodes which I started which have been active (had a reply) in the last X days' - where X is configurable.
I know most people like to start out at the 'Newest Nodes' to see whats been going on, however I think thats too much information, I prefer to start at SoPW, Meditations and PMD. Then I look at nodes that I started to see if there have been answers recently. At the moment theres no way to automate that apart from adding them all to the personal nodelet, and removing them when I think there will be no more answers.

If everyone else does it differently than me, then I guess I'll live with it .)

    You can always do this on your own. You take user nodes info xml generator combine that with node query xml generator, compare some timestamps, and BAM! you got what you want.

    update: And then you can post it in the Code Catacombs and get mucho XP ;D

      Yep, it does seem like a nice idea. So I whipped up a solution based on my PerlMonksTickers module (download).

      See the code in Check for recent replies to your posts.

      It's a bare-bones example, but would be easy to enhance for your particular needs.

    Going off at a tangent slightly, there's an option in the User Settings to /msg me when there's a reply to one of my posts .. would this give you somewhere to start (as a quick fix) when you're looking for your active nodes?

      Unfortunately, it only /msgs you to a direct reply to your node - a reply to the reply will not be noted.
