The PerlMonks FAQ has been updated

by boo_radley (Parson)
on Mar 04, 2003 at 00:34 UTC ( [id://240204]=monkdiscuss: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

The perlmonks FAQ is now here. We've tried to put things in a simpler, more logical layout where new users can get an instant overview of all of perlmonk's services and foibles.
The old version is here.
All of the old information should be incorporated into the new, but we've left the old one in place, too.
If you have a section you think needs added, updated or replaced, please msg the site documentation clan or me and we'll see what needs to be done.
update The Need Help?? link in the PerlMonk title bar has been updated to point to the FAQ as well, instead of Site How To

Replies are listed 'Best First'.
Re: The PerlMonks FAQ has been updated (overlap, redundancy?)

++(boo_radley and Site Doc Clan)   8^)   I especially like the "back to Perl Monks FAQ" link on some of the linked FAQs.

I don't mean to complain (really, I don't!), but there still seems to be substantial overlap between these FAQish nodes: Please forgive if y'all are already aware of and/or addressing this quite minor issue.   Of course, there's the distinct possibility that I'm overlooking/unaware_of some valid distinction betwixt all these.
      cheers,
