No More Votes

Dear Perl Monks:

Use your votes wisely for they are the last ones that you will be getting for a while. That's right. No more votes but look on the bright side, you'll never be the scapegoat again either.

The powers that be are rethinking the whole node reputation and user experience idea. I have been informed that my services are no longer required. Can you believe that? No notice, no severence pay. Just a letter saying that I need to clear out my desk by close of business today.

     Farewell,

Perhaps JavaJunkies.org is still hiring...

    Dear Fairy:

Perhaps you don't need to take this all so seriously. Keep in mind that today is April 1st, which for some SV_MORTALs is a day in which pranks and jokes run wild. I would contact the gods to check if this information is for real. But to be sure, do so after midnight...

    Best regards and good luck

-lem, but some call me fokat

I thought it was midday? That has been the concenus over here anyway. So some of the jokes have passed our deadline :)

Well, it's even more confuse to me. April 1st means nothing in my country...

        Best regards

++ for the Fairly OddParents reference.
"That was an oddly-specific action phrase!"

    -pete
"Worry is like a rocking chair. It gives you something to do, but it doesn't get you anywhere."

It's definitely time to start looking through the want ads again.

I just received my pink slip. :(

I think it's about time to start hoping for an April Fools! to appear in this node.

Okay, if you haven't guessed it by now, this was an April Fool's joke. (I tried to hint at that with my first reply.)

As far as I know, the only scapegoat is me. (It's in my contract that I will be allowed to rise in levels but never vote.)

So it was all true after all?
