bronto-- I don't see any reason not to use the namespace, but I would defer to those that know the namespace better than I do. However, I did have one comment on the code. I would kill words emphasized: Net::LDAP::Simple is a simplified interface to the fantastic Graham Barr's Net::LDAP. Net::LDAP is a great module ... -Matt
