I'm pretty well decided on a Unix/Apache/Perl approach to establish an E-Commerce presence. I have yet to iron out all the details and it just seems more painstaking to find a decent bunch of informative e-commerce resources than I would hope.
I have also sought out places to discuss the topic with others, but have not found anything.
As great a place as Perl Monks is to share info and insights, I would like to gather monks with an interest in discussing and sharing e-commerce/open-source/apache/perl experiences, discoveries, insight, and even code.
I know there are monks here who would benefit from this. If such a group already exists, I want to be a part of it, if not how about we create one!
Sure, we deal in opensource, but so many of us do business.
I happen to be of a mindset to share and benefit alike. Heck, thats the whole idea of opensource anyways. So here I am, attempting to target the select bunch of us who dabble with E-Commerce stuff.
Hey, sometimes the only way to know is to ask! =)
