Answer Timestamp Display in Q&A Section

I noticed that there is no display of the timestamp in the answer node of Categorized Questions and Answers section. The question date/time is mentioned at How do I round a number?. But the answer date/timestamp are not mentioned at How do I round a number? or at Re: How do I round a number?. I can display it with my settings in the title of the page, but that is not the point.

Is there any reason behind it or a feature which can be enhyanced :-)?

Thanks,
artist

    Why?

Categorized Answers are basically static, and nobody really needs to know the creation dates except QAndAEditors, who do see them (when you're viewing a Categorized Question).

Since the Q&A section is not a place for "discussion", like SOPW, it doesn't much matter when the answers were created.

Furthermore, the categorized answers are always sorted by reputation, and date/time shouldn't play a role (in my opinion, if a date/timestamp serves any purpose at all is to give perspective on basically how a discussion goes, and since Q&A is not a place for discussion, there is no point to it).

I don't know why gods made Q&A like that originally, but that's my take on the situation (as a QandAEditor and monk).

    Peace
