in reply to Worst spelelers

Hi jacques,
My worst two offenders are teh => the, taht => that, in fact so bad that I have installed a programme that checks the keyboard input and automagically changes them (and many others) for me when 99.99% of the time I misspell them. It would seem I have 'learnt' to misspell them in the same way that you teach your fingers chord shapes on a guitar...

Whilst an interesting and potentially good idea I don't believe the extra strain it would put on the site would warrant such a feature. And anyway sometimes it's fun to see the typo's that people make, we're only human after all...?

Side note: in case you use the best editor ever, just add these two lines to your ~/.vimrc:

abbr teh the abbr taht that

I think it would be nice to give yourself a little traning for those specific words that you don't spell right all the time. ie.. correct the mistake that you had learnt long time back, especially when your list is small.? The advantage is that when you have to work in the environment, when your spell checker is not available, you should be ok.

Another advantage is that we can extend to the spoken version ie.. miss-intended words/phrases can be corrected :-)
