One thing that I have found frustrating is that there is no way to access old nodes in the SOPW or Discussion sections except to go back using the Next entries link at the bottom of the page. The problem with this link is, in order to get at a node which might be a few weeks old you have to go through pages which display all the nodes which have been added since then.

On the pages which list an individual Monk's write ups we have the option of seeing nodes 50-100, 100-150, last 50 etc., which is good if we want to see something like say merlyn or vroom's first post. I think this sort of an option would be good for the other sections as well. As of now, there are over 1700 posts in the Seekers of Perl Wisdom. If you wanted to see the first post in that section you would have to go through all 1700 of those posts, 10 at a time, unless you knew what it was about to search for it...

Theres a lot of good stuff right in those sections, but right now you can only really access the first 50 or so unless you have more patience than I do. Is there a better way to access old nodes that I don't know about? If there isn't, what does everyone think about something that would facilitate this.
