First of all Welcome to the Monastery! Make yourself at home.. You may want to read this Before You Post ... as well as this Before asking a database related question .... There are many Tutorials available here that you may find useful.

Is it hard to tell exactly what the problem is. Can you post a small example of the code? If you do so please wrap the code in code tags Writeup Formatting Tips. I'm going to guess that you need to escape that slash character. You can do that by putting a backslash in front of it.
