&1 is the logical and applying the bit mask (1). Even numbers always end with a zero bit, odd always end with a 1 bit. This is a simple test for even/odd.

Colour is evil. Remember that people are using different themes and certain colours won't be visible. See what's been said about font just earlier today, or what was said just a few days ago about colour.	[reply]
