I consider perl to be an extension of my person. Weather it has had a poistive or negative impact on me.... I'd say positive, I don't consider myself a hard-core programmer. I'm just a guy using perl to make my life easier and more enjoyable. It has helped me in the way that I analyze problems and situations. I am now taking different approaches to problems that I wouldn't have before. Also, I am a better planner now. I am more slow to act and to speak. It is better to have all my thoughts organized before I put them on paper, in a conversation, or into code. So, Perl has taught be alot, and yes, I believe it has helped in making me a better person. -- Did I mention Huburis was one of my best traits?

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
