Hi Monks,
On the Perlmonks website, if I have some messages in my Inbox, and want to archive them, I bring them up on the Message Inbox page, and then I do this:
{Move} ({x} all but) selected to {Archive} (where 'x' is a tick)
without having to select any of the messages. This works and seems logical to me, but doing exactly the same thing without ticking the "all but" box, seems to give exactly the same result (i.e. it archives all the (unselected) messages).
Why does this happen? Is this a bug? Is this a feature? Or am I just losing my logic?
Thanks.

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
