Eh, I got some love handles my girlfriend keeps poking. ;) And it's been a while since I've done some lifting, and since there's a bench press and a curling bar right next to my bedroom, perhaps I should use them.

I've acquired a calligraphy pen, so now I can write in the Tengwar, the character set for Quenya (among other Tolkien languages). Erudil's page (as well as mine) have samples of names written in the Tengwar. It's so fulfilling to write them, rather then use some computer font.

And I have a new musical instrument -- a hammered dulcimer. Picture a harp lying down that you strike with small wooden hammers. That's it. It's very cool. I like it, and I'm getting very good at it.
