FYI tools: You might want to look at microsoft project for project management issues (design charts etc)... (Not really a microsoft supporter but a tool is a tool). There is also a couple of cool flow chart tools etc. on linux for free and other stuff as well. There is a bunch of "request / bug tracking" tools available from source forge... (though I haven't had enough time to actually get some of those tools working...) Also a financing tool (money, quicken etc) might come in handy.
I would also set up a developer an announce mail list that you can send email to to ensure people are on the same page... I would also try to ensure that people could contact you whenever and you'll be able to respond to them within a 1/2 day...
... etc ... just woke up, not enough coffee yet... back to sleep...

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
