grinder,
as busunsl pointed out it's really hard to help without
the fault code. Here's what I would try:
- if it's a console program, run under the debugger, setting
stop points at certain log statements you think are failing. Inspect the tee object before the print, explicitly flush (via the debugger) after you print, check the log file.
- or, whereever you have tee print, right before insert
an explicit print to STDERR a Data::Dumper the tee object
-derby

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
