How would a PDF-generating lib make difference in this case? How is:
my $pdf = new PDF::Create(...);
my $root = $pdf->new_page('MediaBox' => [ 0, 0, 612, 792 ]);
my $page = $root->new_page;
$page->stringc($f2, 40, 306, 426, "PDF::Create");
...better or easier to handle than:
$im = new GD::Image(100,100);
$image->stringFT($color,$font,10,0,123,321,"GD")
?

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
