I do think you're preaching to the choir, though - I don't think the monks who post complete answers to obvious "do my homework" questions will be swayed by your arguments...they seem, to me at least, to be more interested in the XP :) Perhaps a concerted effort to downvote such answers would dissuade them (the XP-whores I mean)? rdfield

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
