Thanks a lot for pointing me in the right direction...
I am currently using 5.6.1 but will most certainly upgrade to 5.8.x.
So the only way of enforcing that behavior for hashes will be to require 5.8.0; in my modules?
That will prevent users with older perl from using it...
Any thoughts?

<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
