I am about to start work on a project which requires a lot of error handling and am keen to keep all error code in one place maybe an error module or develop my own error object Or better still someone might point me in the direction of some error handling tutorial/module or a really good explanation of perls own error handling.

<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
