( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??
Hm, I do about as much sports as I program... The rather marginal sport of ski-orienteering is my favorite. It is really concentration intensive, there is a high pace. I've been pic of the week on Norway's largest Orienteering news site: http://www.o-nett.com/tiki/tiki-browse_image.php?imageId=212

So, I picked Snow/ice on the poll. But I do a lot of orienteering too. Have a look at http://www.learn-orienteering.org/. That'll become a wiki based on my AxKit::App::TABOO module some day... :-)

I've done some mountainbiking and triathlons too, as well as the occasional street-running relay.

I'm not so much of a rock climber, though I have done a couple of alpine climbs, I like it more on ice. I've done some glacier stuff. That's rather nice. And I've been to about 6050 meters in Peru. I think we were very close to 20000 feet, but I didn't think about it at that time... Story at http://www.ausangate.kjernsmo.net/.

Uh, that was enough ego-boosting for one morning... :-)

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
