...a European one? I've seen many either true Europeans, or ex-patriates in Europe on PM. Might I suggest a few places:
Galway, Ireland for the St. Pat's weekend
Venice, Italy during Carnival
I'd be willing to make it to something like this if enough people were involved. Oh -- Guinness in large quantities is also a big draw! ;-)
Heck -- put sometype of "conference" moniker on it, and a large amount of people could use this to con the boss into letting them attend!
See you there!

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
