This is sort of the reason I quit this forum last time, everybody nit picks everything you type so there is little point in discussing anything because someone always has to disagree
If you can't handle people disagreeing with you, then maybe you should "quit this forum" again. And good luck finding a better one. I honestly don't know of any technical forum where nits are not picked. You know what they say: if you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen. You are not going to get your glorious ego stroked every time you post a meditation about something obscure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
