I don't see the votes as a waste. A good post, even if
by an AM, should get voted up and
recognized as something good, while a bad post should be
downgraded just like anyone else. The total XP for
the Anonymous Monk will always be screwy, but so what?
Each node should be voted on by its merits alone,
not on who posted it.

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
