The recursive regex patch was applied to blead as 28939. If you feel up to it it would be cool if you could review the documentation on it and make whatever changes you think are needed based on your experience with the PCRE stuff.

<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
