The Dark theme isn't the only theme to exhibit whacked colours. When I had Night Shift, I'd be unable to read anything that ended up in table format (Best Nodes, my list of writeups, to name a couple). Switching to the JBlue theme got a decent theme that was easy on my eyes, and I was once again able to read text in tables.
The basic problem with these themes is that while some tables may be shaded in a gradient style, the link colours contained within the cells aren't adjusted to get a decent contrast, hence invisible links. (And no, a white background is -not- easy on the eyes. It's blinding, like a fluorescent lamp at 60Hz... to my eyes, anyway. :o) -- In reply to Re: Dark Theme.
