And if you want to be able to readily see such things you can use Newest Nodes which is what Neighbour was suggesting. Many people do, so you need not worry about such comments disappearing into the ether.
Funny, you're missing the point completely :) See Re^2: Make asking questions easier ; request for new superdoc/titlebar. Its not about replies getting lost. Its about asking new questions. Its about making it easy to ask new questions. As easy as making new replies. What's wrong with replies to old nodes? It keeps associated information grouped together nicely.
