Although using wperl.exe is probably the most direct route; in the spirit of "There Is More Than One Way To Do It" I will point you to this node: Win32::Start Perl/Tk Script Without Annoying DOS Window, which utilizes the module Win32::Process, which is in the core of the ActivePerl Windows distribution of Perl.
