I'm not sure exactly who changed what and whether the followoing is a newly intoduced bug or an old one...
I had set the Node Status nodelet to be shown and have since deactivated it (set to 0) after demerphq did his thing++.
The results of the deactivation are mixed: most of the time the Node Status nodelet is not displayed, but when I follow a link from the Node Navigator nodelet the resulting page seems always to be shown including the Node Status nodelet.
If I can pin down the occurrences more exactly, I'll update this node.
Ideas for a fix, anyone?
Update:
tye++ just said on the CB: "the node status nodelet isn't optional. if you don't tell it where to display, it picks where to display. it shows consideration reason, which people shouldn't ignore" "(but it doesn't display on nodes that can't be considered)" "(and if you pick the approval nodelet, then node status doesn't insist on being displayed)" "but, if we remove the now-duplicate info, it probably will display less often".
Well, that explains it.
Update: Is there actually any documentation on what exactly the Node Status nodelet does? I haven't found any yet... |
