at least once every 1 or 2 days, a new users comes along
and posts a node that is horribly malformatted and gets
either ignored, berated, or (wastefully) corrected.
my proposal is this: non-editable nodes should by default
not be able to be posted without first previewing them at
least once. this should be the only mode available to
Anonymous Monks. regular users should have an option like
'Allow posting of non-editable nodes without previewing',
which would be off by default (causing every root node to
be previewed at least once by default).
since it could be turned off, it wouldn't be a hindrance
to experienced site users, and since it doesn't change the
actual content of the nodes, it is less intrusive than
Corion's automatic code wrapping proposal.
so, what do you all think?
