Perl Power Tools Updatedby simonm (Vicar) |

An updated release of the PPT, the Perl power tools project, has been posted to CPAN. Also known as the Unix Reconstruction Project, PPT includes emulations of a growing number of standard Unix command-line tools. (Announcement, Documentation)
I mention this here because it has been several years since the last release and there has been some interest in the status of this project expressed here recently. (See RIP PPT.)
