Maybe I'm misunderstanding your comment, but the fact is that Scriptorium does show up in Newest Nodes (as "Site Manuscripts") if you just turn "Site Manuscripts" on in your User Settings.

You're right. I'm afraid I've to buy another brain (my new signature couldn't be so well suited)...
