Seriously though, why do you you people think that females are so underrepresented in the IT field in general?
A friend of mine (who happens to be a female) went to school to get an engineering degree. Of the two schools she attended, IIRC she was the only female engineering student that one of the colleges had ever seen, and was one of the first at the other school. She said the only thing that she disliked about the experience is that (and I'm paraphrasing, but nearly quoting) being treated like queen in that class got annoying after the first few semesters. Anyone wanting to give me a college experience that rough is welcome to begin bowing and throwing money at any time.
And no, I don't own 27 pairs of sweatpants.
