I downvoted it because I felt it was way off-topic. Instead of a general discussion about the informedness of voters, it turned into a discussion of some election in a far-away country, ie. into a discussion of some (I guess) political commentators whom I don't know - and probably have absolutely no reason to wish to know more about.
