Romping...

Do monks really "romp"? One has trouble imagining monks romping. Gliding, yes. Doing kata, even.
Brow gently furrowed in concentration, with deft and accurate movements, the Perl Monk brought the system into harmonious oneness with the rest of the network. He turned to the student, saying,
"can be spoken" ? "not the True Tao" : "Mu"

Romping?

I just don't know.

You need to exercise your imagination more, young monk. =) I can imagine monks skipping down stairs with puppies in a happy candy-land whilst being chased by evil levitating cabbage-patch kids wearing catholic school-girl uniforms and shouting "I choose you, Monkie-poo!"

Of course, I had McDonalds for lunch and now have indigestion so that may factor in...

To be sure of what romping means exactly, I checked websters dictionary. This ist what it says:
Main Entry: (2)romp function: intransitive verb Etymology: alteration of (1)ramp Date: 1709 1 : to run or play in a lively, carefree, or boisterous manner 2 : to move or proceed in a brisk, easy, or playful manner 3 : to win a contest easily

And why not? Don't we all do our qdtas*?
Are we not programming perl because with it we can code in a more carefree manner (as compared to other programming languages)?
Is not Perl meant to "make the easy jobs easy"?
Don't we all like to play with Perl code from time to time?
