Developer's release 1.5.0 of Bioperl, a toolkit for bioinformatics and biological data manipulation, has been released. This release includes lots of new modules. The Changelog and announcements are here. The Dev release API is considered unstable and not deposited into CPAN.

Some stupid statistics about this release: 781 modules of ~320k lines of code/documentation, almost 9k tests, 100+ authors.
