Five minutes in The New And Improved PM Super Search turned up the following threads: You may also wanna venture over to ActiveState to check out their preview release of Komodo, an IDE for Perl, Python, and JavaScript.

tilly already mentioned above that neophyte has a pretty comprehensive list o' editors at her home node, so I won't repeat it here.   That you should check out neophyte's node, that is.   ;^)
