Funny, I'm doing the same thing with a config::general schema. Not sure if this will help or not, but far too late in the game I came across Test::WWW::Mechanize - might be of some value

Never too late. Thanks for your input, i'll look into it. Right now i've got HTTP::WebTest working, but no luck at WWW::Webrobot yet, the last script seems to run, but i get no feedback. I'll look at your option as well, i still have to find out what method suits me the best. "We all agree on the necessity of compromise.
