I take it you've never read The Little Prince? It is quite clear to me that the author is putting forth the proposterous notion that a python could swallow a camel.

    No, I had not read The Little Prince, and no, the thought that the python had swallowed a camel had not crossed my mind.

    I can now, however, see that what was clear to you is now well within the relm of possibilities for me.

    This is unfortunate; that the author intended such. I saw it as wrapped around a tree, and the resemblance of a camel was either accidental, because he was not so good at drawing a python wrapped around a tree. Or because he was paying homage to Erudil's original work.
