Understood. Perl has the ability to be simple for those who want to use a small part of it's capabilities. Something that runs without problems usually requires the understanding to use it. I think the word you're looking for is "foolproof". In any case, every language that is lower-level than Perl must be a bad thing. You also did not provide a snippet, so no one here will be able to diagnose your problem. Perhaps your intent was not to ask a genuine question, but to spark a ... discussion?
