Actually, it turns out that if a functional programming language is Turing complete that it can solve every problem in the world. ;-)

      *sigh* I'll bet you're no fun at parties.
        :) I'm fun at parties, but not with discussions involving computers or computing... I have a nasty habit of replying with dissections of the wording. Even if I understand and even agree on some point.
      Not quite "halting", but in nearby news:
      Stevan Little has been playing with push, pop, shift, and unshift on infinite lists. He thinks he has found a bug, although maybe he just hasn't let it run long enough... Larry provided answers as to the correct semantics.
