If the sample chapter is in any way indicative of the whole work then this *will* be a book to own. I don't consider myself to be any-more than an intermediate programmer but I still didn't expect to learn too much from a chapter on subroutines or realise the potential pitfalls in some of my current coding habits, such as the use of an implicit return. I look forward to this one hitting the shops, thanks TheDamian!
