Perhaps Q&A should be changed to FAQ?

I want to voice my support for changing the link to say "FAQ" instead of "Q&A" in section links nest.

I think most people are quicker to recognize the meaning of "FAQ" than "Q&A".

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

First i wanted to argue about your suggestion to say the Q&A section is the Categorized Questions and Answers section and not a FAQ...
But then again the section itself is clear about it: This area is for frequently asked and answered questions.
So next to the argument you gave, next to the fact that it actually is the FAQ area, i have to agree, so jacques++...

I disagree. FAQ has a different meaning to Q&A, and quickly reaching an incorrect conclusion is not preferable to slowly reaching the correct one.

IMHO, Q&A is more clear than FAQs. In Webdom, FAQs are usually questions about a particular site, or a topic related to the operation of the site. I say just leave it.

(if anything, I'd like to see the Q&As fashioned into tutorials about those topics)

How about "Perl FAQ" vs. ( "PM FAQ" or "PerlMonks FAQ" )?

"Perl FAQs". And "PerlMonks FAQ" should probably be "PerlMonks site FAQ".

Everyone and their little brother have FAQs on their sites. We Are The Perl Monks; We Are Special! We have Q&A!

Let's keep the Q&A. Thank you!

I agree. Q&A implies more interactivity. It would make sense to rename "Seekers of Perl Wisdom" Q&A, but the current Q&A section even labels itself a FAQ.
