What was I missing there ?For sure, you were missing to include the example of what you tried. It's difficult to tell you what you were actually missing without knowledge of what you wrote! You already had the data in the form you wanted: an array (accessible via a reference to it) of hash references, each hash keeping one "trio". A look to some tutorial documentation will help you understand things better. Flavio
