    What brand/model of phone? You'll probably do much better searching (googling) for a specific phone/model .. cpan search for phone isn't too useful, but something like nokia could be ...

    Sorry about the vague nature of the question, i'm interested in building an application that would let me connect from my PC to my phone and download my text messages.

    Maybe the Bluetooth socket module will point me in the right direction, thanks i'll take a look at it now.
